On April 1, 2011, in compliance with Oregon’s Renewable Fuel Standard, all diesel fuel sold or offered for sale in the state of Oregon must contain a minimum of 5% by volume biodiesel, creating a B5 biodiesel blend. Exempt from this directive are railroad locomotives, marine engines and home heating applications.

On January 1, 2011, the fuels tax rate will increase from $0.24 per gallon to $0.30 per gallon. This increase will need to be reported on all tax reports for periods starting January 1, 2011 (reflected on tax reports filed in February 2011 and later). This tax rate increase was adopted by the legislature in 2009. Local city and county tax rates are not impacted. Aviation fuel (aviation gas) and jet fuel tax rates remain the same ($0.09 per gallon and 0.01 per gallon respectively).

Pacific Pride now has an iPhone application available for locating fueling sites.  The application uses your current location to provide you with a list of sites available for your fueling needs.  New location directories, state maps and wallet location directories are available.  Contact MNOP via email at rose@marcnelsonoil.com or via phone 800-523-7676 to have these items mailed to you.

MNOP's Estacada Pacific Pride site now offers Dyed Off Road 2% Biodiesel.  The Premium Unleaded was removed to be able to add this diesel product.  If you currently are purchasing dyed off road diesel at other sites, then you have access to purchase this product at Estacada. If you need access to purchase this product, call MNOP at 800-523-7676 or email rose@marcnelsonoil.com .  The change will be made to your card and it will take effect the following day.  If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.
